New events for December!

Slow update are slow, my bad. LAN was a huge success, many thanks to all of you who came and made it a great night. We hope future LANs are as great as the last. I'm told the paintballing trip was also a good day, I hope everyone didn't get too battered and bruised because we have more events lined up for the coming month! December 3rd there is a pub quiz at Einsteins bar (under the students guild). We already have more than one team, so it's looking like total compsoc domination if we get two teams there to win both prizes. The other three events are all still to be confirmed, but hopefully will go ahead this month. Do remember to check back to the site on December 1st for the Christmas design. ;)

Forums down briefly

Forums are down for a short while for upgrades to the latest phpBB version.

First meeting was a success!

Thanks to everyone who turned up to the meeting today, I was extremely please with the number of people who showed up (I was expecting two or three new comers at most...). I hope you guys enjoyed what little gaming we could actually do there, and are looking forward to our future events. It was good to see you all today and I hope to see you all again at a CompSoc event soon.

Don't forget, meeting tomorrow

We hope to see as many of you as we can, have a few 4 player Wii games, then go for a drink down the pub. Keep an eye on the website over the coming weeks for some additions, as well as the reskinning of the forum so that it matches the new homepage.
