Recurring events
Paranoia
Paranoia is a text based role-playing game we play online. There's no knowledge of obscure rules needed, nothing is left to chance or dice rolls and we'll never ask you to seduce an orc queen. All you need to play are quick wits, fast talking and a penchant for backstabbing your friends. If you fancy trying it out sometime, sign up here.
Folding@Home
Folding@Home (similarly to SETI@Home, but fare more usefully) takes large scientific research projects and distributes the processing power needed to get results. Distributed computing in this manner has far outstripped supercomputing for such projects, and if you're interested in joining in with your spare CPU/GPU power, then have a look at this thread.
